Looking at the error you posted it seems that your chrome version is not detected properly, because 73.x of the webdriver should work with chrome 73.x. You basically have to match the chromedriver version and the chrome browser version as listed here. But in my case what can I do to resolve the issue.

because Google has been restricting to use the previous version for chrome due to the security precaution. but you are continuously telling that the solution for this is an issue is given in the linked query where they are telling to use the chromium instead of chrome. I am not getting the solution for this issue till now. I have already looked into this query ( How can I download an old version of Google Chrome) where there is no solution for my specific requirement so, I have raised a new query. I need it because it is required for some automation purpose. Where can I get the setup and how can I downgrade the chrome to the specific (.68) version which is related to the chrome driver. So if I go to downgrade the chrome to a specific version which is related to the chrome driver version.
